This year I have been appointed as the Centre-In-Charge of the Young Ladies High School. It is my first experience as a Centre-In-Charge. This is quite a challenge to me, as the school is totally new to both me and my team member Jessy Joseph.

There were a lot of things which I was doing for the first time, like teaching the students of the Primary Department, especially the younger students of the 1st and the 2nd standards, but I enjoyed teaching them. Apart from this, we had to conduct training for the teachers. This too, was very interesting for me, since the training involved even the Principal Ms. Patole.

I am lucky to have a good and co-operative lecturer like Jessy. Both of us had the challenge of maintaining discipline while conducting the lectures, as our Principal is very strict about discipline.

ASCII has given us a very good platform not only for teaching, but also for extra curricular activities like the Computer Day, the Inter-School Computer Quiz Competition and the Inter-School Project Exhibition. For the first time in my life, I had to be on stage as the Hostess for the Inter-School Quiz Competition. It was a thrilling experience and I enjoyed every bit of it.

During preparations and throughout the competition, I got commendable support from my co- lecturers and superiors, right through to the end.

I have also learnt a lot about new Software such as HTML, Flash and Dreamweaver, for which I am thankful to ASCII. By working in this institution I have gained tremendous self- confidence, my stage fright has vanished and above all ASCII has taught me TEAMWORK, which I think is very necessary for an individual to be successful.
