| As you know we, at ASCII
aim not only at training students in computers,
but also promoting their overall development by
conducting various extra-curricular activities like
Intra-School & Inter-School Quiz competition,
Computalk, Project exhibition, thus opening the
doors of knowledge and exposing students to the
latest computer technologies. Putting
your knowledge into words is a real art. Eloquence
and speech are not the same. Expressing one's
ideas is easy; expressing them with style requires
forethought. Our students set an excellent example
of this in the XI ASCII Inter School Compu Talk
and Project Competition held on 28th February,
2004 at the Alexandra Girls English Institution,
Mumbai.
Compu Talk competition requires
students to prepare themselves within a time span
of 20 minutes, on a randomly selected Information
Technology related topic. On preparation, they
have to give a team presentation on the topic
in front of a live audience, bringing to light
their amazing oratory skills and their vast store
of I.T. knowledge.
Computer Project Competition
requires students to prepare projects on different
I.T. related topics, in the form of online presentations
and project books, models or flip charts.
