- Students should understand and explain the concept
of the project instead of mugging it.
- Projects are meant to test the knowledge of the
students, help to improve their confidence, allow them to surf
and gather information on their own to put their own ideas into
effect.
- The teacher can help them but should avoid making
their projects as it won’t prove useful to the students
and also deprive from using their talents. It would be just like
spoon feeding.
- A model should be related to the topic. Many
a times it is seen that whenever the topic is related to computers,
students have the tendency to prepare a thermocol model of CPU,
monitor, keyboard and mouse. For e. g. even if they have the topics
like Computer in the field of medicine or astronomy etc.
- If charts are supposed to be put up see to it
that only the main points are focused on.
- The main points should be eye-catching and the
same can be explained in detail afterwards by the students. So
the students don’t need to prepare anything extra for the
projects.
- Live models are mostly preferred, but if the
students are not able to prepare they can explain the procedure
with respective organizational charts or diagrams.

- Model should
be attractive and students must be able to present it with sound
knowledge of the subject.
- Choice of
projects should not be complex.
- Explanation
has to be step by step and more related with the model rather
than other information.
