A brief Introduction of
Mrs. RAJ ALONI – Principal J.J.Fort
Boy’s High School |
- Smt. Raj Aloni, Principal – Sir J. J. Fort Boy’s
High School won the Maharastra State Teacher’s
Award for the Academic year 2005-2006.
- Mrs. Raj Aloni had earlier been awarded the “Best
Teacher’s Award” for the year 2002 by The Muslim
Council of India for her distinguished work as a teacher.
- She has been instrumental in planning and organizing
“Teachers’ Day” Award function held at
Y. B. Chavan Hall on 5th Sept. 2000 by the Maharastra Govt.
It was again due to the organizational skill that Sir J.
J. Fort Boy’s High School was chosen as the venue
by the Maharastra Govt. to celebrate “World Literacy
Day” in the year 2000.
- As a Principal she is instrumental in securing 100% results
for S.S.C. in Sir J. J. Fort Boys’ High School as
well as winning the innumerable interschool, State and National
Awards for the students in co-curricular activities.
- An extraordinary teacher, she has won prizes in Science
Exhibition for 11 years in ward and regional level and on
four occasions went up to State Level.
- She has been a research – oriented Resource Person
and Co-coordinator for various training programmes like
“In-service Teachers’ Training Course for senior
Teachers Training Programme and has also conducted Science-Maths
Teachers Training Programme for Sarva Shikshan Abhiyan”.
She has also conducted lectures on “Bar Code”,
‘New Admission S.S.C.’ FORMS, ‘Multiple
Question Paper’ set etc. for S.S.C. Board, Mumbai.
- She has also helped in organizing and printing ‘Balbhavan’,
‘Manthan’ and Science Magazines.
- At present she is a member of “Manthan” Core-Committee,
a forum of Principals of South Zone Mumbai and also acts
as co-convener for A/B ward of South Mumbai, Department
of Education, Mumbai District.
- A keen educationist, whose concern always has been to
help pupils; she also has undergone a training to identify
‘Learning Disability’ in children. Armed with
this she has delivered many lectures to teachers of various
schools to identify such cases and how to deal with them.
- Last but not the least, she researched and wrote ‘Learning
General Science book for Std. V published by ‘Jeevandeep
Prakashan’.
